microSD Card
Micro SD card is an extremely small flash memory card. Its format originated from SanDisk, and originally this type of memory card was called T-Flash, later renamed as Trans Flash. The reason for the renaming to Micro SD is because it was adopted by the SD Association (SDA). Other memory cards adopted by the SDA include Mini SD and SD cards. It is primarily used in mobile phones, but due to its small size and increasing storage capacity, it is now also used in GPS devices, portable music players, and some flash memory drives. Its dimensions are 15mm x 11mm x 1mm, which is roughly the size of a fingernail, making it the smallest memory card currently available. It can also be used in SD card slots through an SD adapter.
